For over 22 years, Dr. Derdoy has dedicated his career to pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.

Dr. Derdoy: About

Dr. Derdoy obtained his MD at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He trained in Pediatrics at HPC, Mar del Plata, and Pediatric GI / Liver Transplant Fellowship at Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires.

He has more than 20 years of experience in his field. Dr. Derdoy did an Ambulatory Pediatrics Fellowship at NYU Langone Hospital, Long Island; Pediatric Residency and Chief Resident at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey.

Dr. Derdoy completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles / USC. After being on a faculty at USC for four years, he moved to St. Louis, in 2007, as Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplant Program at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for five years.
He also did clinical research work at SLU in fatty liver disease, as well as worked with the NIH.

He worked at Mercy Clinic Kids GI for six years before starting a Solo Practice in February of 2019. Dr. Derdoy is in-network with Mercy Children’s Hospital.
